Kids In Common: Children's Summit

Founded in 2008, the Santa Clara County Children’s Summit annually convenes cross-sector leaders to advance social justice and collaborative strategies that improve outcomes for children, youth, and families. A hallmark of the event is the annual release of the Santa Clara County Children’s Data Book, a trusted resource that provides critical, intersectional data on youth well-being and serves as the foundation for the Summit’s data-driven presentations and discussions. Through the Data Book, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, participants gain actionable insights and forge partnerships that strengthen community impact.

Attendees include leaders from local government, nonprofit, education, health, philanthropy, and community sectors, while elevating youth voice as a central component of the Summit by having young people share their perspectives, inform cross-sector dialogue, and help shape community solutions. The Summit also features the Bold Step for Children and Changemaker for Children Awards, recognizing individuals, organizations, and youth-led efforts that advance positive outcomes for children, youth, and families.
