"Eureka Day" & Honoring School Nurses
The Healthier Kids Foundation will give a brief welcome on stage before the 8 p.m. performance.
The play is set at within the Eureka Day School in Berkeley. It is a bastion of progressive ideals: representation, acceptance, social justice. Every week over artisanal scones, the school’s five board members work to preserve a culture of inclusivity. But when a mumps outbreak threatens the Eureka community, facts become subjective and every solution divisive. This sharp comedy confronts the central question of our time: How do you build consensus when no one can agree on truth?
